About IPM
IPM has tested piles since 1995. The equipment for it is developed in-house, as is the structural design for every test setup. That is the difference between offering and being able to deliver.
1995 to today.
Every major project listed here was completed within the agreed period.
1995
Founded in Gotha-Boilstädt.
1999
In-house development: conversion of the PAK-8 with battery and WLAN for remote desktop use during dynamic load tests.
2005
Own measuring devices, own measuring software, 15 MN jack set. First fully electronic static compression load test.
2006
Own special free-fall weight with 7, 9 and 12 t.
2008
In-house development: eight test beams, 12 m, at least 500 t load per beam.
2011
In-house development of the 27 MN jack set.
2011
Baltic 2 wind farm (Hemmoor site): static compression and tension tests with instrumentation, August to December.
2014
Tengiz oil field, Kazakhstan: 50 static and 100 dynamic load tests, integrity testing, April to October.

2018
In-house development of the 40 MN jack set.
2020
BAB A45, Talbrücke Eisern: static load tests up to 30 MN.
2024
Munich, U5 West extension: static load tests, displacement and force controlled, inside the test tent, May to December.

2025
In-house development: eight test beams, 15.1 m, 700 t load per beam.
2025
Hamburg, Steinwerder Kai: static load tests with four new test beams, test force 24 MN.

2026
Site expansion: hall extension.

Occupational safety comes first
Every site starts with the hazard assessment, not with the first test beam. Load paths, rescue scenarios, restricted areas. Defined before arrival.
The result shows in the statistics: no workplace accident on site since 1995. This figure is the only proof of quality that cannot be talked up.
