Dynamic load test in Nuremberg
Drop weight up to 12 t, evaluation per CAPWAP. For Nuremberg, Fürth, Erlangen, with own measurement technology and travel distance about 2.5 hours from Gotha.
What the test delivers.
Bearing capacity of several piles within one day, evaluated per CAPWAP. The method per DIN EN ISO 22477-4 delivers shaft friction and base resistance separately and fits where the construction schedule does not allow a week of setup.
Details on the method are on the service page Dynamic load test.
Burgsandstein and Blasensandstein of the Keuper, overlain by valley fill of the Pegnitz with sands and silts. The sandstone is weathered and loosened to varying degrees, its upper surface lies unevenly.
Loosened sandstone looks like rock in the core sample and still does not carry like rock. The base resistance assumption then comes out too high, which only shows under load.
Dynamic load test in four steps.
- Expose pile heads, apply transducers
- Series of blows with drop weight, measure force and velocity
- CAPWAP model analysis, separation of shaft and base
- Report with bearing capacity and assessment per EA-Pfähle
The structural engineer gets numbers instead of assumptions. Measured bearing capacity allows a proof per Eurocode 7 without blanket safety margins.
Nuremberg, Fürth, Erlangen is geologically inconsistent. The test shows what the pile carries at exactly this spot, not what the ground model would suggest.
Differential settlement causes cracks, tilting and re-foundation. Tested piles are the cheapest part of structural stability.
